Practice Needed For A Great Presentation

A great presentation requires like all good performances practice to reach the heights of greatness.

Practicing a presentation is like rehearsing a play before it is produced. The actors need to get used to the routine, the cues, and even the audience. The needs of the presenter are similar. You should give your presentation several times, once or twice before a friend or two and at least once (if at all possible) in the room where it will be delivered finally. If you can anticipate the circumstances and the surroundings, and practice your presentation under those conditions, you will be better able to meet the actual speech situation.

I've always found practicing hard work but the results are worth it. In my opinion it is not possible to give a great presentation without it.
