A great presentation is not just about the quality of the presentation slides. Although these can help when appropriate. There are a number of elements that go into making a great presentation.
The make up of a great presentation is;
1. The audience - who are they
2. Clarity of the message
3. Knowledge of the message
4. Amount of preparation and knowledge
5. Practice, practice, practice
6. Presentation Style - engaging the audience with movement and voice
7. How the visual aids are used, including PowerPoint slides, whiteboard, flip charts, objects etc
8. Length of the presentation
9. Language Used
10. Enthusiasm and/or interest in the topic
A great presentation is like baking a great cake, it is the person who puts all the components together that makes the presentation great.
